So how can you get involved in the industry? Here are 3 steps for you that will increase your revenue at your print shop!
- Decide what products you could offer at a winery.
You might not offer all the products above, and that is okay! First thing you need to do is decide which products above you can produce in-house. After that, then you can see which products you could outsource. (Wes-Tex Printing would be glad to help in this area!) Why would you outsource products? This way when you are talking to a potential new winery that you would like to start printing with, they can have all their print needs through you! It makes it easier on them to have one place to order, pay, and pickup.
- Create a list of wineries in your area.
On this step you can either create your own list or buy a list. All you need to do is search on Google of all wineries around you! After you do this, start building your email lists from the winery websites. Go to the wineries and see what they are needing. You can nonchalantly ask what all they print and see if they are printing online. They might be interested in a local printer but didn’t know it was an option.
- Start marketing!
Once you have a list of potential customers, start marketing! Even if your list is small, you can always start marketing towards wineries in the area online as well! The important part in this step is to show that you can produce the same quality or better that those wineries have been receiving!
